Adam Smith

Summary: Adam Smith an Enlightenment thinker wrote about economic behavior about the people. He focus on how the economy must have people with skill and people who are actually useful in working for the labor force. Also he states that nations advances from the mistakes and poverty they have been through. Smith states that the state of the economy affects all parts of society. If people would think the economy was bad it would affect the way people would think. With a bad economy, it can cause the upper class to turn against the lower class; blame all the faults on them. It connects back to the society and how with a poor economy it would blame the lower class just like the witchcraft persecution and it was only a way to put all the faults on the poor. Also a better economy leads a better intellectual life because it could stimulate they way people think; just like the way Adam Smith is writing about the behaviors of people from the economy.
